The monumental Khow Ga Peh House soars high over the sea on a promontory that towers above the ocean below. This house contains four large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and large open plan spaces.

Built in 1968 this spacious property is designed around the captivating views and natural flow of the cooling breeze.North facing with expansive ocean views stretching across to St Vincent, the property can also see the southern peninsular / Bequia's airport strip on the southern side.

Spacious Layout

The entrance to the property is after large open deck space through to open lounge area facing north through arched formation - furnished with hammocks / relaxation / dining table.

To the end of this vast deck there is a curved whale-rib bar with bar stool seats made out of whale vertebrae.

Raised area above with large well equipped kitchen

A few steps above is a sizeable kitchen with an expansive wooden floored Dining area with 3 dining tables - the only property in Moonhole to have wooden flooring.

4 en suite Bedrooms

This spacious house has 4 double bedrooms, some featuring cool wooden floors, all with built in wardrobes and cupboards and luscious ocean views. The walls have been built in local stone and follow the natural curves of the headland. Each bedroom has their own private bathroom.

The first bedroom is to the rear of the dining area with ensuite bathroom and small outside deck.

The remaining 3 bedrooms are accessed via steps down from the lounge area;

The first bedroom on the left is the only bedroom without deck, this is a twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom and suite/relaxation area to the side.

Beyond there are a 2 further bedrooms each with their own entrance. The Master suite with expansive open deck and large bathroom with ample storage to the rear

On the lower level - another good sized twin bedded room with 2 bathrooms.

Khow-Ga-Peh Villa is situated in the Moonhole community - a beautiful, secluded site that offers guests an opportunity to enjoy life amongst a nature reserve.The house is only accessible via a narrow winding path and a 4X4 - The remote location guarantees an unusual degree of privacy.

Stunning Ocean Views from Vast Verandahs

From its vast main deck you can see the sun set over the West Cays, look down into the original Moonhole house and the turquoise reefs in the Bight, and gaze at the verdant mountains of St. Vincent in the distance. Ship's Stern, where cannons once guarded Bequia's harbour, stands tall across the Bight, a craggy sentinel that dwarfs passing yachts.From far below the sound of the surf crashing on the rocks resounds like distant cannons.

A Solar Powered Eco Villa

Khow-Ga-Peh is powered by solar panels, capable of powering lights, recharging phones, computers, batteries etc. However they cannot handle high-wattage appliances such as hair dryers - which can only be used at the Moonhole Office.

The sparkling azure ocean, St. Vincent and Sugar Bay can be seen from every window and viewpoint from this hand built property.

There are 2 lounge areas and a bar with wooden topped tables and curved arched windows and seating areas.

Natural Unforgettable Environment

The Moonhole community, created in the 60's by a group of friends who enjoyed sailing around Bequia and the Caribbean, was built using local materials sympathetically echoing the landscapes curves. The large arched windows have no glass, are open to the hummingbirds and cooling windward breezes. The properties, though all different, share open stone, un-fussed, interiors with little to distract the guests away from the climate or the views.
