L'Hirondelle - Grenada Lance aux Epines, Grenada Island, Grenada

Hirondelle is a contemporary property with a modern edge. Conveniently located in the upscale neighborhood of Lance Aux Epines. Benefiting from year-round breezes, the open design creates a naturally cooled living space with doors which open to the splendid panoramic views of the sea or the lush garden.

The villa can accommodate up to six guests. Due to the rocky, seaside landscape and dramatic coastline of the villa it is not suitable for young children. Each of the bedrooms includes an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and pool or garden access.

Exquisite Walled Gardens

One of the unique features of the villa is the private walled garden area designed by John Criswick. Criswick’s own home is the St Rose Nursery of Tropical Plants, described by the American Horticultural Society as, “the most extensive nursery in the Caribbean”. Set in the Grand Etang rainforest overlooking Mount Maitland, the nursery is home to rainbow-colored tibouchinas, strelitzias and heliconias, which bloom in the lush greenery. It is plants such as these that Criswick has provided for past exhibitions by Grenada at the Chelsea Flower Show in London and that we are lucky enough to have in our garden. The gardens have been designed to offer a private, aromatic, relaxing space offering light and shade, lines and curves, lush greenery and delicate floral features throughout.

Lovely Sun Terraces, Large Dipping Pool and Unique Sun Tower

A sun deck with teak loungers frames the large infinity plunge pool as well as an alternative sun deck closer to the water’s edge. A curvaceous sun turret gives you a bird’s eye view of the coastline with a lovely outdoor cushioned seating area offering spectacular views and Sunsets accross Coral Bay .  As the days wind down, recline with your favorite cocktail and enjoy the magical sunsets at Hirondelle Villa!

The house is situated on Coral Cove and the bedrooms, garden, pool deck and of course the sun tower all offer superior ocean and bay views.

L"Hirondelle combines a mediterranean rustic style with a clean modern finish. Plenty of places to relax in the shade and dazzling sun deck to enjoy the tropical temperatures.

Great Room leading to Garden & Pool
The large living room includes a seating area with comfortable sofas, a dining table, and an open gourmet kitchen. The living and dining areas maximize the indoor/alfresco lifestyle by providing easy access to the outdoor areas.

Pre Provisioning
A pre-provisioning service is available so that guests can arrive to find their choice of groceries in the cupboards upon their arrival. Please contact the team for details.

L'Hirondelle Kitchen
The kitchen is cool and practical and leads into the dining area and gardens. There is a built in hob, cooker and toaster and all the usual equipment guests would expect in a villa of this standard. Alma the house keeper comes 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and works for between 5-6 hours. Her role is to make guests experience as relaxing as possible and she will for an additional charge prepare meals.
