Agnew Hall - MoonholeMoonhole Peninsula, Bequia St. Vincent & Grenadine Islands Agnew Hall, Unique & Beautiful
An unusual, charming and curvaceous 3 bedroom villa built from the local stone of Bequia and overlooking the ocean with stunning views and sunsets. Well maintained and recently fitted with new solar lighting, recharging outlets and refrigerator. Just steps above Moonhole beach.
Comfortably sleeping 6 guests
This property is arranged on 3 levels, with the 2 double bedrooms, both en suite situated on the central level. Each bedroom has large ocean facing windows offering cool, breezes throughout. The newly-renovated third bedroom downstairs has a king bed and separate bathroom.
The character of this villa is due entirely to It's construction. Curving stone steps, rounded window frames, table tops carved from local ocean shaped timber and magnificent views combine to create an unparalleled environment.
Romantic Solar Lamps
This charming environment is further enhanced by solar lamps, solar flashlights, lanterns and candles.
Guests can cool off after a warm Caribbean sun under the natural rainwater showers.
Open Plan Living Space
The top level offers an open plan living and dining space with delightful local carved table tops and curved window seats which opens out onto a glorious breezy sun deck furnished with hammock and chairs.
Beautiful, hand carved, asymmetrical stone steps form the major routes to and from the accommodations at Moonhole. Due to the nature of these we would recommend that this villa is not necessarily suitable for children, elderly or infirm guests who may struggle with the steps.
The Moonhole Community was formed over 40 years ago when these properties were constructed from and using the indigenous environment. An association was formed to preserve the properties and restrict any further development. Staying at Agnew Hall allows guests to feel part of the environment, cooled by the ocean breezes and warmed by the Caribbean sun.
This is a nature lovers paradise with a wide variety of indigenous creatures to be seen including Green Turtles, Fruit Bats, Iguanas, Lizards and Tree Frogs. Spme wild birds have been known to nest inside the houses at Moonhole due to their proximity to the ocean, birds like Carib Grackles, Egrets, Blue Herobs and Ground Doves are frequently seen.
