Beachfront Plantation House - IJEOMA Crescent Bay, Bequia, St Vincent and The Grenadines

'Ijeoma' house is a fantastic Bequia beachfront property built to the owners specification and completed in late 2009, sitting in one acre (44.000 sq. feet) of tropical garden. It has stunning panoramic views south across the Crescent Bay towards Mustique. A single split level property with a main house area and three self contained studio apartments. All having a/c and access to both private and communal verandas, a 30 foot infinity pool, ample sized sun deck, shaded dining and lounging gazebos.

A beautiful location

Ijeoma is ideal for groups of up to 10/12 people (10+2 children), close to the beach and in privacy. Guests can self cater, obtain the services of a chef (at extra cost) or dine at the nearby award winning Sugar Reef Hotel and Restaurant.

Stroll straight onto the beach

Taking the steps down from the sun deck gives access down the driveway onto the unspoilt Crescent Bay Beach. There is an outside freshwater shower for washing the salt & sand away on your return.

Accommodation

The Property is facing south over Industry Bay and Crescent Beach and the next-door coconut plantation. Each apartment area has access to a stunning communal 30 by 12 foot three sided infinity pool which overlooks the bay south towards Mustique. This layout works perfectly as a single vacation hub for a group or separately for families or couples due to the levels of privacy achieved through the layout.

Guest Services

The House Manager will welcome you with a drink on your arrival and show you round as well as ensuring a twice weekly cleaning and linens change service by the housekeeper. The manager will be happy to provide you with help and advice to make this a most memorable vacation.

Main House "IJEOMA"

(sleeps 2-4) Extending to 1500 square feet interior space, flowing out to the 1000 square feet main terrace centered on the pool, with covered lounging and dining areas each seating 8. All rooms face South over panoramic views to Mustique. There is a large sitting room with lounging and dining areas, large fully fitted kitchen with range oven and US-style fridge/freezer/ice dispenser, separate bathroom, master bedroom with four poster US Queen size bed, en suite bath and dressing rooms and TV room / second bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The property exudes a luxury feel with it's Persian rugs and original artwork.

"Panorama Apartment"

(sleeps 2) 340 square feet with direct access via It's french doors to the upper levels 1,500 square feet of verandas and Sundecks. This is a traditional design with high, open, hand finished 'pickled' white boarded ceiling and mahogany furniture with a US 'Queen' size sleigh bed.

Two Studio Apartments on the lower level

"Tranquility Apartment "

(sleeps 2) on the lower level with 450 square feet with a further 250 square feet of covered patio area. It has a cool, contemporary feel with ceramic gloss tiled floors and a US 'Queen' size sleigh bed.

"Shoreside Apartment"

(sleeps 2 plus a further 2 children) on the lower level of 500 square feet with French doors opening to It's own outside stone patio of almost 200 square feet. "Shoreside" is similarly contemporary, cool and bright and has a standard sized double bed with a separate sofa-bed, ideal for children.

Each section of the house has it's own kitchen, dining and sitting areas making this flexible property ideally suited to mixed groups.

Each studio has air conditioning, ceiling fan, en suite shower room, full size kitchen with electric cooker, hob, fridge, dining and sitting areas, internet-enabled TV, audio and video library's and CD/MP3 player, plus ample wardrobes.

Guests renting "Panorama' have access to the huge level deck comprising separate open sun lounging, and covered outdoor sitting and dining areas, with a gas BBQ available for guests use. Guests renting "Tranquility" or "Shoreside" separately have access to the upper level pool.

There is a communal laundry room with automatic washing machine situated on the lower level available for guests use, or personal clothing may be laundered by the housekeeper at small extra charge.
