Overall this villa has some of the best views on the island, particularly from the extended balcony, is cosy, comfortable and located near all the islands main amenities.

Friendship Bay, located on the southern side of Bequia is a horseshoe of fine white sand ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving and sailing. All these activities easily available with the villa in close proximity to the dive shops and sailing charter companies. Hills encircle this fertile valley which opens to a beautifully long sweep of beach with southern views to Mustique and Bequia's southern Cays. Well connected by road to Admiralty Bay / Port Elizabeth over the ridge. Friendship Bay enjoys a quietly established atmosphere with a great blend of local character.

Light and Airy Bedrooms

The 3 double bedrooms are cool and spacious, uncluttered in style, with high wooden beamed ceilings and fans which all help to maintain a comfortable environment. 2 of the bedrooms now have air conditioning.

In the main living area there are comfortable sofas, large TV and dining area seating up to 6 guests.

The open plan living area also accommodates the refurbished well equipped kitchen with new stainless oven and refreshed flooring.

A cell phone is available for island calls and the villa has internet connection. The whole villa has tiled floors which help maintain the pleasant cool atmosphere.

We highlight that the villa has recently added a fully refurbished shared bathroom. The bathroom has :

Bequia

Due to the remote position of these islands and their dependence upon inter-island trade the locals, who are proud of their boat building and fishing traditions, are eager to share their knowledge and welcome visitors to the island. Jimmy Buffett lists Bequia as one of his top 5 least spoilt of the Caribbean Islands. This lush green island characterized by tropical rainforest is surrounded by miles of stunning white sandy beaches. The indigenous woodland offers a variety of flora and fauna including wild orchids, tropical fruit and nuts, Hummingbirds and Yellow Birds making this environment free from commercial noise and alive with natural sounds of the sea, the warming trade winds and local wildlife.

Bequia Climate

The islands of the Grenadine archipelago enjoy a pleasant tropical climate all year round with a yearly average temperature of 26 C. The warmest month is September with an average temperature of 27 C whilst January is the coolest month at 25 C. Overall Bequia and the islands offer an ideal environment cooled by the trade winds and consistently temperate.

The Islands

In 1992 Bequia acquired an airport that can accommodate small aircraft and offers charter flights to and from St. Vincent, Barbados and St Lucia. There are a variety of other stunning islands to visit either via day cruises or Speedboat. Mustique and Young Island for example, private islands close to Bequia provide stunning and exclusive locations for dinner. Ferries regularly operate between the islands and Speedboat taxis and sailing charters are easy to arrange from Port Elizabeth. The Grenadine archipelago offers a variety of island activities such as day cruises, diving trips and sightseeing trips to the Tobago Cays all easily arranged by the Grenadines Villas Team.
