A Private Island Getaway
The Nest is the middle floor of a private villa on the island of Bequia, the second largest island of the Grenadines. Each floor is a separate self-contained apartment.
The bedroom overlooks the bay, has a king-sized bed for maximum comfort, and opens onto a secluded verandah. For families the queen-sized futon provides extra sleeping space. Twin beds can be provided instead of a king-sized bed on request.
Creature Comforts
The nest features cable TV and a fully equipped kitchen complete with stove, fridge, microwave and toaster. You can serve your food on the traditional Barbados pottery provided, which adds to the island living feel of this luxurious rental.
Magnificent Outdoor Dining
Make the most of the stunning views by dining on the cool verandah where You'll be shaded by the sun-kissed trees. Or relax in one of the many recliners while you take in the splendour of Admiralty bay.
Tropical Gardens
The gardens surrounding The Nest are a series of terraces set into the steep hillside, giving a romantic view of a developing exotic fruit tree garden. Here you can experience sweet-smelling papaya and limes growing in their natural home.
Beautiful Beaches Close By
There are a selection of wonderful beaches close to the Nest. Plantation House beach is less than a 10 minute walk. Princess Margaret beach a mere 15 minute walk away. The Lower Bay and the Port Elizabeth Harbour are both about a 20 minute walk. There are also plenty of local taxis for those wishing to venture over to the other side of the island, where You'll find Friendship Bay and Spring Bay.
Beautiful Interior
The Nest is classically decorated with cream walls and colourful accent furniture. Small quirky features give an enchanting and cosy feel to the living areas. The large doors can be fully opened onto the verandah, inviting a warm tropical breeze to sweep through. Should you prefer the doors closed, the ceiling fans throughout The Nest will keep you cool.
Exciting Activities 10 Minutes Away
Make the most of the azure waters by taking a day trip on the Friendship Rose classic island schooner. Or you can experience the exuberant aquatic life with a friendly local scuba diving instructor from Dive Bequia or Bequia Dive Adventures.
Aside from the many water activities, you can take in the white sand beaches, the awe inspiring volcanic landscape, and the unique local restaurants.
