Stone Houses' location has the perfect balance - it is set right in the heart of the action by the Belmont walkway, and yet the property enjoys quiet and privacy. The beach is just 80 paces from this lovely Bequia Retreat, and there are bars, restaurants and a local supermarket nearby. Stone House is set in secluded, level gardens, shaded by mature palms, this rental is cool and romantic and can be rented together with Stone Cottage.

Please NOTE: The owners feel it is NOT suitable for younger children due to the location of the pool. If you have children and wish to book please let us know the age and ability of your children so we can confirm if the owner will approve your booking.

Bequia Stone & Wood Interior

The house has been built using local Bequia stone and hardwood and these materials feature inside creating a real tropical hideaway atmosphere. There are cool tiled floors in the bedrooms and bathrooms , each bedroom has a ceiling fan and is air conditioned. French windows lead out from each bedroom to the  gardens and pool area helping to maintain the comfortable environment. An open dining area next to the central pool has Bequia stone floors, a high beamed wooden ceiling and is furnished with comfortable wooden chairs and couches. This is a great space, ideal for cocktails just after an evening dip in the pool.

King Size Bedroom with Pool & Garden Access

The King Size bedroom has a four poster bed and louvered french windows that lead out to the shaded garden and central pool. This room is full of character yet uncluttered, has generous proportions, a traditional wooden wardrobe and storage chest. Shaded by the mature trees and cooled by the tradewinds, with AC, tiled floors and ceiling fans this relaxed and romantic bedroom offers the perfect place to start your day on the island of Bequia.

The Good Life

With owners in the catering trade, Stone House has a very well equipped kitchen for all the delicious Caribbean inspired meals that you will be enjoying. A rustic covered dining area and professional BBQ is provided, just steps away from the beach. The main dining area inside has polished wooden floors and seats up to 6 guests comfortably. The walls are Bequia stone, light and cool and feel part of the island, rather like the house itself.

Secluded & Connected

Stone Cottage has internet access. You could bring your laptop and work from here, but why would you? This house has been designed to encourage It's guests to relax, to swing in a low slung hammock from mature trees or the covered veranda and to enjoy the Bequanian climate.
