This is a charming wooden cottage all on one level with an open plan interior and a queen bed, ideal for a couple. This private cottage set amongst a citrus plantation offers a simple, relaxed, rustic Caribbean experience, perfect for guests to unwind and forget the stresses of modern day living.

Quaint, Colourful and Cozy

For larger groups there are 3 other similarly equipped cottages available on the estate (Blue, Green and Red Cottage). Yellow Cottage offers the most privacy. Bayaleau Point is the perfect place to relax in a hammock, do a spot of bird watching, as well as hiking, donkey trekking or kiteboarding in the reef protected waters for the more adventurous.

Getting Around

Carriacou is a small, undeveloped island. Cars can be rented and guests can arrange to have the car ready for pick up at the airport. Please ask the team for details. Public transport is quite reasonable, there is a bus route that whilst not necessarily frequent will be the most cost effective and local of experiences. There are both taxis are mini-buses and these will cost around EC$20 - $40 depending on where the villa is located in relation to the point of arrival on Carriacou, either thejetty or the airport.

Open Plan

The cottages have an open plan interior with simple kitchen,dining and sleeping areas clearly defined and a bathroom with WC, shower and washing facilities. Wifi internet connection is provided.

Dining Area

Yellow Cottage has a kitchenette with toaster oven and small fridge/freezer The seaside deck close to the cottages also serves meals in the evenings such as the catch of the day and home baked bread for around 30 USD per person when available. A hot spot for socialising with other guests.

Carriacou

An unspoilt gem of an island, Carriacou has beautiful beaches and little development,a car would be recommended whilst on island although there are buses and taxis available.

Upon Arrival

There are taxis available from the ferry terminal that will take guests to the cottages at an approximate cost of 35EC$, grocery shopping is possible at the ferry area.

Island Activities

There are a wide variety of watersports and activities available on Carriacou which include kitesurfing, sailing, scuba diving and even donkey treks, all easily arranged in advance or in island.
