Sur un nuage… 

Situated on Union Island, a kite-surfing paradise, Sur un nuage (meaning On a Cloud) is wooden house with full 180 degree ocean views over Mayreau island and the Tobago Cays Marine Park.

Easy indoor and outdoor living, the house offers 2 beds, 2 bathsand 2 daybeds ideal for children.

The Space

There are 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms, and mosquito nets. A terrace stretches the full length of the house, with large dining table, daybed, deck chairs, hammock and beautiful full panoramicocean views.

In addition there are 2 daybeds, one in the living room and one in the outdoor terrace.

The use of all linens and towels are included. A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal for preparing and cooking meals.

To ease your stay there are also:– 2 portable beach chairs– snorkeling gears– an igloo cooler and a backpack cooler to keep your groceries cold– inflatable beach chairs

Staff on hand

There is someone on hand to help with queries and ensure you have a smooth stay to enjoy the island. Our house manager can organise transport from the airport and will be there to greet you at the house. Linens are changed once a week by The Housekeeper who visits 3 days a week. There is a washing machine in the basement for personal laundry if required.

The Neighborhood

Due to It's flat and pristine water and steady wind, Union island is increasingly becoming one of the best spots in the Caribbean to practice kite surfing.

From Sur un nuage, it is a 15 minutes walk down along a woodland footpath to reach Big Sands Beach - one of the finest beaches on Union and indeed in the Grenadines. It is approximately 20 minutes to reach Richmond beach, and 20-25 minutes to either Clifton or Ashton villages.

At Big Sands beach, there's Sparrow's Beach Club Where you can sip the best rum punch on a comfortable beach chair on the gorgeous white sand! A free shuttle service can pick you up and bring you directly to the beach club.

This unspoiled island of charm and character has sunshine all year round and is even good to visit during the low season.

Getting Around

Although not necessary, we recommend renting a 4×4 or mule for ease of transport back up the hill to the house, or into Clifton to explore the shops, vegetable and fruit stalls and buy provisions, or explore other beaches such has Chatham Bay, Campbell Bay and kite-surf beach. You can rent a mule for $US 50 /day.

House Rules

No smoking and no pets are allowed. You should leave the house in the condition in which you find it.
