India & Villa Bay
Due to the island's volcanic origin, most of St Vincent beaches are black sand with two notable exceptions at Villa and Indian Bay beaches which are particularly good for swimming and snorkeling, with calm waters.
Guest ReviewsI stayed at Sunset Shores for ten days in early March 2005. I found the accommodations and overall service to be of 5-Star quality. The food was prepared by a well trained staff and the management made every attempt to make my stay memorable.I have no reservation about recommending this establishment to anyone that wants to be treated right at a reasonable price. I stayed at Sunset Shores quite recently. I was on a business trip and spent 1 night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure I was quite comfortable and satisfied. The room was very clean and nice. Dinner was quite lovely! I would recommend this hotel to anyone Ann Sweetie Trip Advisor 20 Sept 2008
I visited St. Vincent for the first time in February 2006. I was on a business conference and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly suprised with the hotel, service and location. First I must say that the local people are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, so a personal touch was noticed and appreciated.
I was happy with the room although the airconditioner was loud, it worked well. The food was very good although I could not get plantains after the first night. The bar served really good planters punches.
The location is not far from the airport and it sits on the beach. A stone's throw away is Young Island and it is worth a visit for a meal.
In summary, this hotel is a fine value and I would stay here again.
