Superb views and a lovely house. "A perfect place to escape from the stresses of the UK. Well equipped villa, spotlessly clean (courtesy of Patricia) with two pools and a huge sun deck from which to watch island life." 2014 Sarah from London "Wow, what a holiday! We haven't stopped thinking of it since... its snowing here, icy and cold. We will be back, as soon as we can! We LOVED the Windsong, I have never been so happy with a holiday in all my life. " Patricia Klein & family UK Dec 2009

"Gorgeous place- really enjoyed our stay. Villa beautiful and everything we could have hoped for." Jenny, Nick, Clarrisa & Eddie, London, United Kingdom Feb 2008 "We are now in FREEZING London and already missing Bequia. We had a lovely time, thank you very much, and have to say the house and Patricia were both great - we had a rest - exactly what the doctor ordered!" Lynne Pemberton & Robin Morgan December 2008

Beautiful & Enchanted Windsong
Windsong is an enchanting, tranquil and gorgeous house. The views from the terrace are breath taking - it is difficult to tear yourself away from the property - it is totally relaxing. Our day started with breakfast on a large glass table on the terrace with views over Spring and Industry bays. Lazy afternoons either reading on the terrace or in the lovely Mayan hammock next to the pool - interspersed with dips in the pool (you have a choice of two). The owners have provided lots of seating areas to match your mood - pool, garden, terrace, full sun or shade. The attention to detail throughout the house is exceptional. A constant warm breeze keeps you refreshed and has an hypnotic effect - Windsong is a magical place. Patricia looks after you and makes sure that you have everything you need. Bequia is a beautiful unspoilt Caribbean island with the most friendly and welcoming people.

Superb Holiday in a Fantastic Villa

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with both Bequia and the villa - the accommodation, location and views were magnificent. The villa was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a very classic feel; you felt at home and very comfortable. The swimming and plunge pools were incredible as were the gardens. Every part of the villa was beautifully maintained by the housekeeper and gardener who took pride in what they did. I was with a party of 5 and it was easy to find an isolated place within the grounds to have solitude or shade whilst still enjoying watching others in the pool. The days started early watching the sunrise from the terrace and looking over the bay, you could never tire of that view! The villa was very well equipped and perfectly suited to a wonderful party atmosphere as the sun went down and before we headed into town to sample some of the very good restaurants, and for the younger ones some night life.

It was a perfect holiday and I look forward to going back again in the very near future.

Guestbook Review,  11/25/2014,  for a stay in November 2014

"Another stay at Windsong and another superb holiday. We're not a couple to go to the same place again and again - but this place is just so hard to beat.
2 of the bedrooms have spectacular views of the sea, greenery and the two pools. You can throw open the doors in the morning and watch the sunrise.
The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We particularly like the blender for making banana smoothies in the morning. Patricia keeps it spotlessly clean - and is so discrete. You don't even know she's been until you see the fresh towels and made beds.
The villa benefits from so many places to sit/lay and chill out. Some shaded, some not. All with the amazing views.
I'd recommend hiring a jeep so you can see the island.
All in all - a fab villa and amazing island. We are already planning our third trip!"

STUNNING !  5 Stars !

Superb views and a lovely house.

A perfect place to escape from the stresses of the UK. Well equipped villa, spotlessly clean (courtesy of Patricia) with two pools and a huge sun deck from which to watch island life.

The island itself is one of the friendliest I have been to in the Caribbean, with great food, great restaurants, lots of things to do if you are interested in moving away from the sunbathing for a day. Noel is a superb taxi driver and will take you wherever you wish to go. I am definitely returning.

Tips...don't bother packing lots of smart clothes, it's very casual attire, bring lots of sun cream and some mossie spray for the evenings out.

·Sarah from London, UK 2014

"My husband and I stayed at Windsong Villa for our honeymoon in December 2012 and we could not have wished for a more perfect Caribbean island or a more luxurious villa.
The villa is in an ideal position with the most incredible views over Industry Bay. We could not stop smiling the day we arrived on the island and walked around the villa with our jaws open in amazement .
Watching the sunrise over the bay from the verandana or pool was magical and an amazing way to start each day. We could not believe the views the first morning we woke up, it was breathtaking.
The villa is large and spacious with two pools all to yourselves. Choosing which pool to use in the morning made us feel extremely spoilt! The villa has everything you can imagine or want for in terms of furniture, pool furniture and kitchen equipment. Unlike some rentals I have used in the past where you make do and mend with what you are provided with this villa had more gadgets, pots and pans than my own kitchen at home! There was a large fridge and freezer and all modern gadgets including a coffee machine and an all important blender to make rum punch for by the pool!
The bedrooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms with great wet room style showers.
A house keeper and gardener came as often as we wanted and kept the place immaculate. The gardens were just beautiful with all sorts of unusual plants and fresh exotic fruits growing. Taking a midnight dip with fire flies in the trees above your head is hard to beat!
A house keeper Patricia was there to greet us on arrival and had left us a wonderful home cooked meal which was just what we needed after a long journey. She was so welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. She is available to come back and cook for you during your stay on arrangement as you wish and also offers babysitting. She supplied immaculately laundered sheets and fresh towels to a higher standard than most hotels!
If you have not been to the island before you cannot go wrong and will not be disappointed if you chose Bequia for your Caribbean holiday. Although I am slightly reluctant to say that at the moment it is a great kept secret! We heard of Bequia through a friend and on researching it further we liked what we learned, particularly when The Sunday Times voted it the "perfect" Caribbean Island -
We could not have been more pleased with our choice on arriving at the island. Arriving in a small sea plane as the sun set will be something we will remember forever. It is a relaxed island unspoilt by tourists and you instantly feel relaxed and at ease. The smells, sights and sounds are incredible . My husband actually thought a sound effects tape was playing at the villa when we arrived the sound of the insects was so loud!
There are so many lovely restaurants on the island you cannot go wrong. We particularly enjoyed Fernando's Hideway with freshly caught fish homecooked for you that night. It was like nowhere I had ever been before and recently got a special review in the Telegraph travel supplement.
There is as much or as little as you want to do on the island. We hired a jeep and explored the island under our own steam finding lovely beaches and restaurants for lunch. We also really enjoyed a day out on the Friendship Rose to the Tabago Quays and would thoroughly recommend this. Swimming with turtles was a particular highlight! We also had a fantastic trip out with Simeon, a local fisherman, who took us out on his speedboat ("baywatch") around the island. Highly recommended!
Overall Bequia was the perfect Caribbean Island still unspoilt by tourism and we would both go back in an instant. If you are looking for a villa on the island you cannot go wrong with Windsong. It is the ultimate in luxury with two pools, amazing views and everything you could ask for. It was a perfect hideaway for our honeymoon but would equally be a great place to spend with family or friends and we plan to return one day with one or the other, or both! The villa is large enough not to feel on top of each other and with two pools everyone gets a sunbed or float and space to relax! We cannot rate this villa or the island highly enough. A perfect retreat."

"Special place to stay"

We were fortunate to be able to book a couple of weeks at Windsong at short notice. It was absolutely delightful. We were met at the airport and taken straight to the villa accompanied by a Grenadine Villas representative. Patricia, the charming housekeeper, was there to greet us and had prepared an evening meal (delicious).

We then spent a fantastic couple of weeks in Bequia. The villa is in Spring and up a very steep hill which you can think of as a pain or as much-needed exercise! We walked to most places, and people sometimes stop to offer a lift, but I would recommend hiring a car or getting a taxi back up the hill after dark (no street lights), or if you are infirm.

Everything was great except that the wind was really strong when we stayed. That was good in the sense that it kept you cool, but not so good if you didn't want to be battered! There were plenty of places to escape the wind though. Having said that I would definately stay there again as the location and the views were superb.

"Wonderful Stay!!!!"

We had a wonderful holiday in Bequia. Windsong was the perfect villa for us. It's hard to make yourself leave the property it's such an oasis.  Patricia was wonderful and the house is laid out in a way that she could do her laundry and her cleaning and we didn't even know she was there - except for the results afterwards! Waking up with the sunrise coming up over the ocean followed by a morning dip in the pool and then the fresh island made banana bread was a magical experience each morning. Thank you all for everything you did to make our stay enjoyable, from picking us up at the airport to having a delicious dinner waiting for us when we arrived! I will be contacting you again very soon about booking our trip for this year.....25 years and counting!

"able to unwind from the pressures of life in london city"

the arrival was just uniquie gin and tonic thrust into my hand and looking at the wonderful sunset was something to behold. the main house was like a tardis with all the facilities readily available. the staff were exceptional, vernon the gardner always cheerful and was good enough to open a coconut for us to eat plus allowing me to pick my own mango to eat. patricia the housekeeper again was wonderful, her cooking was as good as any michelen star chef.

"Simply Paradise"

We stayed for 3 weeks between Mid May and early June 2012 and had the most wonderful time. Windsong is just perfect for an exceptionally relaxed and luxurious break. On arrived (thanks to Noel's taxi's and for jeep hire) we were met by patricia the housekeeper who was so nice and friendly and clearly proud of Windsong. The villa itself was spotless and much bigger and better equipped than expected. Aftre a long journey all 6 of us headed for the large pool which is quite new and has spectacular views. We spent a lot of time in the sun by this pool chilling and having cocktails! Just a few steps to the villa kitchen with smoothie blender, coffee maker and ice maker, huge fridge etc. Windsong's garden were amazing with lizzards, a tortoise, many birds, beautiful flowers, coconuts and mango's, and very well kept by vernon. Windsong has the best views looking down over industry bay and dawn's creole was a 10 minute walk down the hill. The jeep from Noel's taxi's was perfect for getting around the island and just 10 minutes back to Princess margaret beach, Jacks Bar and Lower bay with mango's and Keegans. Windsong was a perfect base and easy living, patricia cooked an amazing meal for us and we had a great plantation tour at The Firefly.

Windsong had 3 en-suite bedrooms which had lovely decor and large comfortable beds and fresh linen provided as required. patricia comes in most days to clean and change towels and linen etc. because Windsong is up the hill it has a lovely breeze which kept most of the Mozzies away. We went out in the jeep most evenings visiting different restaurants, Fernando's Hideaway is still unique and my Favourite, Jacks bar was wonderful for cocktails and Tuna. Papa's was a lovely spot with brilliant food. The diving with Dive bequia was excellent and visability the best I have seen. We have already decided to go back to windsong next year. Beautiful island and specyacular villa."

"Highly Recommended"

Windsong Villa is well equipped, in a beautiful setting on the Spring Estate hillside catching the cooling atlantic breeze - which also blows away most of the mosquitoes. It has a peaceful, relaxing ambiance and we were able to unwind and pleasantly rest. The housekeeper, Patricia, places fresh flowers in the house each day, which was a lovely touch. The two pools were wonderful for the teenagers, overlooking the same view out to the ocean and over the coast. The back yard was also beautifully kept. We rented a jeep because you really need a car to go anywhere - and the steep roads were fascinating! Eventually, some of the decor in the Master bathroom is going to need an update, but that did nothing to spoil our enjoyment of the place at all. The property can be very windy at night too, which we enjoyed listening to, but perhaps something to bare in mind for a July stay.

Thank you all for helping to make our week so special, and I look forward to visiting Bequia again ... sooner rather than later!

"We had a truly fantastic holiday and I have been telling everyone about it. Seeing the fireflies on the veranda at night was magical. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs - if I were you I would be marketing its toddler friendliness a lot more - I can't believe many houses would be as good on banisters, and easy steps, and the fenced off pool. Knowing he was safe and could potter about, meant we could relax, and relax we did! It was just perfect. And the weather was really fantastic. It rained hard at night, but was dry in the day, hot - but not uncomfortably so, with the lovely breeze.

The plunge pool was a Godsend. We were all in it several times a day, and Wilf learnt to swim (albeit with a noodle under each arm) by the end of the holiday. The weather meant snorkelling was especially good - very clear water, and very calm. Such an abundance of things to see straight off the shore, especially at Lower Bay. We couldn't get over having the wonderful beaches to ourselves. No beach vendors, and most days no one else either! When there were tourists, they were people over from St Vincent, rather than Europeans, and so very friendly. The downside of the beaches being empty was that the beach bars were closed, but that didn't matter much.

The house and gardens were beautiful, and we loved the location. Such amazing views, and having toured around the island, couldn't find a location to beat it. And the garden was in full bloom - so a lovely time to see it. Vernon was lovely - man does he work hard in the heat of the day! The kitchen was fantastic - really brilliantly equipped. And knowing the ice was filtered and good was great. If I was being really picky it would have been nice to have some highball glasses or tumblers made of glass, rather than them all being plastic. Also, if there'd have been a broom or mop to hand, I would have had a little clean around the kitchen rather than leaving such a horror for Patricia. But I'm being picky - it really was a tremendously well equipped kitchen and lovely to cook in. We couldn't get the DVD player to work, but that didn't matter much to us. It took a day or two to get the hang of the food shopping. It was useful to know that just because a shop was empty didn't mean it wouldn't be full the next! We also took our shopping bags (and your cool bag) to St Vincent (Patricia's top tip!) and did a big food shop there, which was fun. We felt almost like locals tottering back to the boat with breadfruits balanced on our heads.

The bottle wholesaler in town was a great find - loads cheaper than the supermarket, and a crate of beer and tonic water, with the very cheap gin we got in duty free in Barbados, sorted us out! It'd be worth pointing guests in the direction of the wholesaler. We got to know the guys in the fruit and veg market very well too - the hard sell disappeared after the first visit, and it was fun to go down there. I guess that's the nice thing about being in one place for a while. Noel was great - and the jeep just perfect for the hill up to the house and pottering around. We loved how relaxed he was about the car hire - no paperwork at all and we even had to call him on the last day to ask him what he wanted us to do with the car and to remind him we had some money for him. His wife met us en route to the airport, and we handed the money over - (she didn't count it!) and we left the keys under the mat at the airport! It summed up the Bequia people and experience brilliantly."

Our stay at Wind Song Villa was a fantastic holiday - we were a group of five with an 8 year old - The villas catered to everybodies needs - the rooms were breezy and the Villa itself had all the amneties that we needed to make the holiday easy for us who did the cooking.
Patricia was friendly and helpful and her arrival meal was delicious - from our arrival to departure on Bequia we had a wonderful time which was made even better by the staff at Grenadines Villa.
Will definitely return to Bequia and WindSong in the near future!!!
