A quiet international community of independent villas on the hillsides of this green and peaceful valley. The boutique Firefly Hotel, and old sugar mill is located here. The old tall Coconut palms run down to the coral sand beach facing the ocean. Completely away from the Harbour but astonishingly close for a visit for shops, restaurants and the bustle of island life.
Guest ReviewsDear Sarah and ALL at Grenadine Villas, Thank you so much for all your help, support and advice which made our stay at The Cotton Tree and in Bequai, really special! We loved the house - it was beautiful and peaceful and suited our needs perfectly! Please pass on our thanks to the owners.
"Cotton Tree House is a delightful hillside retreat!" We spent two weeks at the Cotton Tree House and had exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet. The house is simply but very comfortably furnished, and spotless. If you need luxury this is not for you, but if you just need a clean, comfortable, quiet place to lay your head at night it's perfect.
Cotton Tree House in Spring *****
Lovely, charming one bedroom home in Spring. Very clean and well maintained. Nice quiet location with beautiful view. Convenient to Firefly Plantation and Sugar Reef, as well as the beaches in Spring and Industry. Management company very easy to work with, and property manager was very responsive. Only caveat, not a kitchen for gourmet chefs, and the low counter (30") made it difficult to work. Otherwise lovely home and would recommend.

”Cotton Tree House is a delightful hillside retreat!”
We spent two weeks at the Cotton Tree House and had exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet. The house is simply but very comfortably furnished, and spotless. If you need luxury this is not for you, but if you just need a clean, comfortable, quiet place to lay your head at night it's perfect. Bedroom is upstairs, with a comfortable double bed and a balcony great for stargazing at night or sunning during the day. It was just me and my husband but if you are two couples it would work with a futon couch in the living room which can be closed off for privacy from the kitchen and bath. We rented a car so we could explore. Lency picked us up at the airport and had the car waiting for us at the house. We recommend that, because it would be hard for a newcomer to find. There are houses nearby but the trees give sufficient cover so you really have privacy. There is a washing machine in the lower level outside, and a clothesline on the covered porch so your clothes are protected from those quick Caribbean downpours. Kitchen is equipped with basics, we had all we needed for simple meals.
If you have an MP3 player, bring it, the living room is wired for sound but you need to bring the source. There are games (checkers, chess, backgammon) and a dozen or so paperbacks if you run out of reading material. One drawback is that you need to leave the windows open for ventilation, and there are no screens- we burned mosquito coils and that seemed to keep them away, and the bed does have a mosquito net, a lifesaver! If you freak out at having the occasional moth or little lizard in the house, this is not for you. But if you're content to live with nature and enjoy seeing the hummingbirds right outside the window, you'll love it.
