Outside Courtyard & BBQ Area

With a lovely large dining area and BBQ this is relaxing and sheltered. If asked the concierge will fully stock the villa bar prior to your arrival providing the perfect welcome - all you have to do is choose the best place to enjoy it from!

Surfing at Park Bay House

When the surf is up there is no finer place than Park Bay to either watch or join in. The locals choose this as one of their favoured surf spots on the island which in turn can provide great entertainment for you.

A True Eco friendly Property

Whilst many properties claim eco-friendly approach - Park Bay House is the real deal - off the grid the property is powered independently by sun and natural sources. The owners are serious about reducing the impact of this lovely property on the natural environment and help with practical items such as providing sturdy re usable canvas shopping bags for your groceries... and other small details throughout the property enable a greener lifestyle.

    Park Bay

Fresh and Breezy this is a refreshing natural beach set in a palm and fruit trees...Lime & Coconuts.... Mountain footpaths lead over the headlands to Bequia's wild and natural uninhabited northern hills. There is a very special villa here tucked into the headland with a glorious sense of away from it all but still with easy access to Crescent, Spring and the Harbour just around the point and over the ridge. Park Bay is home to the turtle sanctuary - always worth a visit.

“Park Bay House is a perfect place for a getaway for a family or for 3 or 4 couples. It’s location, above a beach shared only with a turtle sanctuary (a wonderful place to visit) with no (not one) house in sight on the ruggedly beautiful windward side of Bequia is perfect—the views are out of this world. The house is comfortable, well-equipped, and the housekeeper, Rosie, and caretaker, Ray, are wonderful folks. Be sure to rent a car—Park Bay House is literally at the end of the road. One of our best vacations ever! --Philip & Karen Morrison, Washington, D.C.”

We stayed at Park Bay House for 2 weeks in June 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very comfortable and the setting spectacular. The constant trade winds and the sound of the waves make for great sleeping. We never saw a single mosquito. The solar electric system works unnoticed and the music selection is outstanding. You definitely need a car if you plan to go anywhere else but it's an easy drive to town. I would stay there again if I return to Bequia and would recommend it to anyone. Hi Sandy, Kim and the rest of the team.  Thank you all for making our holiday so memorable despite our circumstances. We’re dreaming of the day we get to come back to paradise, and hoping it won’t be too long.

"Our trip to Park Bay House on Bequia in January 2008 was relaxing and picturesque.  The house was spacious and breezy, nicely secluded, with a wonderful view of the sunset each night. We enjoyed hiking around the property as well as fishing and swimming on the nearby beaches. More details about our Bequia trip and the house at ibnibnbattuta dot com. We'll be coming back to the Park Bay House for more relaxation the next chance we get! Thanks to Peter Jeffe and his friendly staff, especially Rosie!"  (Angela, Larchmont, NY)

We had an amazing vacation in Bequia made extra special by our stay at Park Bay House. It is a lovely home but we spent most of our time on the porch listening to the pounding surf and watching the birds...we hope to stay there again. It was a real treat!

Park Bay House was truly delightful. It was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation home. The views and accommodations were wonderful. The deck is perfect for reading a book after a day of diving. From the minute we arrived in Bequia, the staff made us feel right at home. They were so helpful and kind. We felt spoiled rotten! The house was already filled with food and the car and licenses were waiting for us when we got there. It was so nice not to have to take the time to do that during our vacation. Rosie was wonderful and having a home cooked welcome meal was such a special touch. I really cannot think of any improvements that I could suggest. You really have a treasure in Bequia. Please keep in touch if you are ever looking to sell. : ). Thanks again and I hope to be in touch again soon.  (Monique and John Loving)

Special property directly on the ocean.....as good as
it looks!! Owners care deeply for their property as
does the staff. We had a relaxing time on lovely
Bequia. Do not miss a Sail, or if you are fortunate
enough, a private charter aboard the Friendship
Rose. A day trip to hike in the tropical forest in St.
Vincent is also a must.  (Lisa Lennon, Key West Florida)

The house was great and your staff was very helpful. It was a great trip vacation.
Thanks again for all of your help. We hope to return someday.

Park Bay House was lovely - a real 'beach house' atmosphere -
Rosie was great and very accommodating - ( Belinda, Barbados- August 2009)

    "Dear Debbie
We had a great time in Park Bay House, my kids want to go back to Bequia, they just love it.
    Thank you for your help

We had an amazing stay at Park Bay House. Having stayed at houses overlooking the water at several different Caribbean islands we were looking for something different and we definitely found it at Park Bay. The house is as advertised, maybe better. It's as close to the water as the pictures indicate, with unbelievable views and the constant sounds of the waves giving it a unique advantage over most properties. We found that "being off the grid" wasn't a bad thing. The ocean breezes blowing trough the house and across the deck kept us comfortable night and day and bugs were not a problem. I was even able to see some great stuff snorkeling right off the property, including lobsters, an eel, octopus, flounder, and a giant crab. The owners were great when responding to any questions or issues we had, always getting back to us in a prompt and friendly manner. The staff was very accommodating as well. The welcome dinner, ride to the house from the ferry dock, help with a rental car, and daily housekeeping service all helped to make the long trip there worth it. The house is only a few minutes from town but it feels like your the only one on the island. Even though Bequia has several good restaurants and beaches we were reluctant to leave the house. I would recommend Park Bay house to anyone looking for a memorable stay at a beautiful Caribbean island.

    great time

We had a great time at Park Bay house. It is exactly as it appears in the pics. The staff was great and the location was awesome. It is a few minutes from town which makes it super peaceful. But still very easy to get into town. A car was helpful, though you could walk. The sound of the waves and the ocean breeze were perfect. The breeze kept the bugs way for the most part. You can snorkel from the house and there was lots of hiking. We would go back again.

My wife and I rented the Park Bay House for two weeks in March 2009. The weather was perfect with only occasional brief showers from time to time. It has a fantastic location over a deserted beach. You can see the sea from most rooms and hear the surf. It is near the end of the road so very quiet but still only maybe ten minutes from town by car. You probably will need a rental car unless you can plan shopping trips very carefully and take taxis. It has a nice "cozy cottage" feel and is very tastefully decorated. The main living room, dining room, kitchen area is one large room with folding doors that open onto the porch so you feel almost like you are living outside. We were worried about mosquitoes because the house was so open but we only saw a few and they seemed half dead. There was a steady breeze flowing through the house day and night so that probably helped. Could be more of an issue in the rainy season. It is "off the grid" so is solar powered for electricity and hot water and that worked very well, surprisingly. The wireless Internet also worked well so I was able to keep in touch and do some work on my laptop computer. The housekeeper and handyman were great, as were the staff at Grenadine Island Villas who managed the house and answered our many questions about the island. There is a surprising variety of restaurants and small food stores for such a small island, probably because sailing yachts provision there. The harbor in town was always full of sailboats. Getting to Bequia is not easy - took us two days each way from the East Coast because of limited flights but once there, we had a fine time. All in all, it was a great vacation.

Park Bay house is trully Your HOME away from HOME,from the moment you walk into the house you get that homely feeling, it is a lovely country cottage with wodden interiors and beautiful antique furnishings, the house is well kept by the housekeeper Rosie who takes pride in keeping the house up to the owner's standard. Both Ray(who manages the House) and Rosie are very helpful and take care of all your needs without a doubt. The house has a fantastic view of the Ocean and is exactly as you see it on the web and described by the owner, there are no false impressions given, what you see on the web is what you get and even better. We quite enjoyed sitting on the lovely breezy porch and watching the waves, it is very relaxing and out of the busy areas like Friendship Bay, so if you want true relaxation and not too many people around you , out of Town but yet still close enough to the town then Park Bay house is for you. There is also quite a lovely selection of music on the computer that just helps you to unwind and relax, the kitchen is also very well equipped, we could not ask for more. The owner Peter is a lovely person very helpful and truly cares about his guests and makes every effort to accommodate his guests needs, no matter what it is. He is very passionate about his vacation home and would like his guest to enjoy it just as much as he does. while there we never felt alone or lonely even though the hosue is quite on its own as Peter describes it but you still feel connected to the town as from the house you can see the main road and can see who may be passing by.The House is powered by Solar energy and works fantastic so don't let anyone tell you differently. We will definitely return to Park Bay House and would not stay anywhere else when we are in Bequia. I hope that when you visit you enjoy Park Bay House as much as we did.
