Villa Description
A fantastic history
In the early 1960's, American expat Tom Johnston fell in love with the laid back pace of Bequia. He soon began to work on his legacy, Moonhole, an eclectic group of houses near secluded Moonhole Beach, on the island's Southwestern tip. Now you can rent his two bedroom stone and timber cottage with a whalebone chair and a four poster king size bed made of blue mahoe wood (both bedrooms are en suite). Take in ocean vistas from lovely patios or directly from your bedroom, which has side by side picture windows that look out over the ocean to neighbouring deserted islands.
Location
With dramatic cliffs dropping off into the Caribbean ocean on one side, and the secluded Moonhole Beach on the other, Burke House is at an amazing location. Ideally situated on the crest of a hill on this private peninsula to provide views of beaches, islands and tropical flora both North and South. This fabulous Bequia villa rental is directly above some of the best dive sites on Bequia with magnificent underwater reefs and tropical aquatic life.
Tranquil and blissfully private
With Burke House you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as you are in a truly secluded environment. Those that stay here are just a short walk from the white sandy Moonhole Beach - fantastic for swimming. You can enjoy stunning views, complete privacy, open and airy rooms and eco friendly solar power.
Beautiful outside area
This villa has a lovely outside dining area with a shaded table, with plenty of seating where you can appreciate your surroundings in the cool breeze... You also have the added bonus of a large hammock, the perfect place to watch the fabulous Bequia sunset!
Internet Connectivity
Despite its quiet and secluded location in Moonhole, Burke House has good wifi internet.
Lovely living area
Burke House has a lovely and cool living area that is simple, comfortable and calming, again due to the gorgeous surroundings. There are huge double doors that open out onto yet more breathtaking sea views.
