Emita House Secluded Cottage

Emita House has a traditional Caribbean cottage feel. An established property beautifully hidden and surrounded by colourful flowers and lush tropical foliage.

The gorgeous ocean view is framed with palms and blossoming flowers. In season Papaya and mango fruits can be picked from the garden and enjoyed on the verandah whilst taking in the calming view and accompanied by feeding hummingbirds and banana kwats.

Convenient Location

Emita House is perfectly placed just a5 minute stroll down to the lovely beaches of Lower Bay and Princess Margaret. The Dollar Bus Stop into Port Elizabeth harbour is a 5 minute walk away , making this property ideal for those who do not wish to drive. (parking is available if required).

Layout

Inside the cottage is a spacious and very well equipped kitchen and interior sitting room - although most guests choose to relax in the sofa and swinging chair out on the balcony where there is a large dining table. The cottage's windows / doors are all fully screened. Standing fans and an overhead fan in the main room along with the breeze provides a cool environment.

The main bedroom contains a queen bed and ample storage space. There is a second bedroom which can be used as a dressing room. A small safe is located in this room. Both rooms lead out onto the verandah for access to the "secret garden" pool area. A spacious bathroom contains a standing shower and hot water is provided throughout the property.

Pool

The flood lit plunge pool is again surrounded by beautiful flora, a stone gazebo and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting. A dedicated hammock area also offers another relaxing space to unwind. The stone patio is ideal for entertaining with large gas BBQ and plenty of cushioned seating.

Wifi internet is provided. Maid service is offered twice a week. Laundry service is available through the housekeeper. The gardener visits twice a week.
