Guest Reviews“Paradise in every way…” We are now home, and sadly acclimating to life away from the beautiful Villa Belle Morne Rouge. The villa met absolutely all of our expectations, and in fact exceeded them." "Villa Belle Morne Rouge is in a great position - the view over BBC beach is fantastic but it is not too high up that you can't walk down for an early morning dip before breakfast. The house is not huge but it is big enough for six and we spent most of our time out on the open veranda and by the pool. The open plan kitchen /dining/living area is perfect for a group on holiday together. The beds were comfortable with even the single beds being big enough for a 6ft3in man and the air conditioning worked well." "The path down to the beach is steep but manageable, and there is a slightly longer but less steep alternative route nearby for those who prefer. The beach is perfect for swimming and relaxing and there are a couple of bars that also do food so this means that on some days yo
The view alone was worth the price at this beautiful villa. While the beach was just a few minutes away,we were content to relax in the house, swim in the pool and prepare meals in the kitchen.
We fully enjoyed the wonderful villa!

My wife and I have been going to different Caribbean islands for the past 10 years or so, and I would have to say this was the favorite house we have stayed in yet.
The view is spectacular, the easy (assuming you are in decent shape to get back up the slope of the path!) beach access is fantastic, the privacy of the pool area despite its openness is amazing (sooner or later someone is going to buy the lots around the house and build, but not yet so take advantage!), and the easy driving access to other beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, rest of Grenada is great.
Additionally, some of the best air conditioning units we've experienced in the Caribbean (cool down fast so great for sleeping which is really the only time needed). I would say the master bedroom view and size is much better than the other two, so if it's not just a couple, won't be as great a house for those in the other bedrooms - but if just a couple -PERFECT! And as other reviewers have noted, there are two dogs on the property. But they stay outside, not even the pool area, are so friendly, and only bark when their are others walking down the path all the way from the road top, which is extremely rare, and although I doubt there is any worry, it even makes you feel a little safer.
So again - highly recommend for romantic couple getaway. You will love.

The villa was exactly as pictured on the listing and in a great location.
Thanks for hosting! We had a wonderful stay in a great location!
“The villa was exactly as pictured on the listing and in a great location. Short (but steep) walk to BBC beach which has a couple of bars and restaurants at the other end from the villa. Plenty of space for 6 adults, clean inside and out including the pool. The kitchen included all utensils and pots/pans we needed to cook full meals, including spices. Having use of the washing machine was very convenient and there were plenty of towels. The A/C was sufficient in all rooms and the living area. There were also some US outlet converters which was very convenient for those of us that forgot our own. Gina and Erline (housekeepers) were attentive and available for any questions. The two dogs (stayed outside) were very friendly and chill. The villa is one level down from the road via stairs but there is also an elevator that connects directly from the road to inside the villa. All in all an excellent place to stay while in Grenada!”

"If I ever come back to the island I would come back and book this place again. No complaints really. Just be aware that there are dogs on the property but they are very friendly. Know the location of the property in order to call a cab. The stay was very peaceful and if we needed a maid, one was provided. Overall great experience at the Bella Mourne Rouge"

“This villa is such an amazing value and is nested in the hills overlooking a breathtakingly stunning view of the ocean! The property manager was great and accommodated all of our requests in a timely fashion. All of the modern amenities you'd want and need are included and the infinity pool is perfect for a morning or late night swim. Highly recommend this property!”
“Beautiful property and stunning views! ”

“The view alone was worth the price at this beautiful villa. While the beach was just a few minutes away, we were content to relax in the house, swim in the pool and prepare meals in the kitchen. Whenever we wanted to go somewhere, we called a taxi (Lollipop!) and he whisked us away and was always on time. Really enjoyed our time here.”

“Paradise in every way…” We are now home, and sadly acclimating to life away from the beautiful Villa Belle Morne Rouge. The villa met absolutely all of our expectations, and in fact exceeded them.
The photographs are EXACTLY what we found when we arrived.
Loved every second there, and frankly I have absolutely no suggestions for improvement!
The villa has every possible thing anyone could ask for. Bernard was always available and never intrusive. We never saw the housekeeper, but her work was outstanding. (We tried to make it as easy as possible for her). The pool is delightful, loved the gourmet kitchen, can't say enough wonderful things. We would truly love love love to return - this was a bit of a splurge for us as it was our 35 wedding anniversary trip but we are already scheming to find a way back.
We spent every morning diving (with Dive Grenada - the BEST dive shop on the island) and then came back to the villa to make up salads for lunch on the veranda by the pool. We then wandered our way down the 90 second path to the beach where we always had fabulous beach chairs to enjoy in the shade and swam in the beautiful cove, read, and dozed. Then back to the villa for a rum punch, a leisurely dinner preparation, and sunset views. Truly wonderful, we so hated to leave.
I can't imagine even the guest with the highest standards finding a flaw in this idyllic Grenadian villa.
This is our third trip to Grenada, which I must say may have become my favorite island. We have been to many Caribbean islands, but our experiences here has surpassed all others.

We had a great stay at belle Morne rouge.
Thank you very much for all your help.
Guest Review, January 2014
Having travelled the Caribbean extensively over the years and stayed in some beautiful villas, however, nothing compares to what awaits you at Villa Belle Morne Rouge.
The pure ambience and tranquility of its location is quite simply breathtaking and the view is without doubt, one of the best on the Island.
Being the 1st to rent this villa, I felt like the cat that got the cream every day!
Everything about the villa is pure luxury, the linens, towels, decor, furnishings are all beautiful and superior quality. The kitchen is exceptional and has everything imaginable for those who prefer to cook at home.
The pool is amazing (and warm!) and we spent many hours floating around on our inflatables (don't forget to take yours) whilst watching the activities from the beach below.
During our stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the in-house chef service which is available at the villa. Bernard the villa manager arranged everything to perfection and we had the most wonderful evening dinning under the stars with our guests. Highly recommended.
Bernard is a diamond and one of life's true gentlemen. He took great pride in every aspect of making our stay as care free as possible - thank you Bernard. Earlin, the housekeeper was lovely, cheerful and discreet. It was always a pleasure to return after one of her visits to a sparkling and immaculate home.
We hired a car and travelled around the Island extensively. Such a beautiful Island to explore with numerous waterfalls, rain forest, small quaint villages and of course, the beaches. The people of Grenada are simply the best and so welcoming and friendly.
In a nutshell, if you are looking for paradise, tranquility, luxury with all the trappings.....This is without doubt the villa for you.
Christine, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We truly had the most wonderful and relaxing holiday. I will be singing the praises to anyone who cares to listen for a long time to come."
