Egmont Harbour, a pretty secluded inlet which provides a safe harbour for boats. This is a picturesque inland bay, with calm waters and light winds. The bay is an excellent place to fish (catch your own lunch of tasty red snapper!) or to go swimming and snorkeling. The town of St Georges is about 15 minutes drive, and the beaches of the south and east of the island are just a short drive away. The perfect spot for Caribbean vacation villa rentals.
Guest Reviews“Excellent Villa” Reviewed July 29, 2014 I would highly recommend the villa can not wait to go back. The location is excellent most amazing views. I went with my husband and took my sister, loads of space in the villa it is of very high standard and even enjoyed cooking and sitting out by the pool, the view is breath taking. Although you do need a car, even the drive is oustanding. Overall the best holiday yet.
“A delightful private villa with pool for the price of a hotel room” Reviewed July 29, 2014 Osprey Villa's location provides magnificent views of Grenada's verdant interior and beautiful coastline combined with a constant breeze to keep the temperature comfortable and the bugs at bay. The layout of the villa is spacious, airy and we enjoyed many cocktails on the terrace followed by relaxed dinners in the open plan kitchen/dining area. We found all areas of the villa to be furnished to a good standard and well equipped. We made daily use of the private pool and associated sun loungers. Whilst we found a car essential, the mini mart at Le Phare Bleu marina provided all our provisions, with the fresh bread and scrumptious local pastries alone making the ten minute walk worthwhile. Overall, we found Osprey Villa an ideal base for our Grenada holiday and we will be back.
"Villa was spotless! Shaliza, the property manager was so helpful picking us up, arranging a rental Jeep and with restaurant info. Great house for the money. Would definitely recommend this home."

"Osprey villa is wonderful the views are breathtaking and the location benefits from a fantastic breeze. The location whilst being fantastic is very steep and a car/4WD is a must. The pool is great and we spent a lot of time enjoying relaxing around it an in it, unfortunately you do lose the sun completely at around 4pm. The interior is perfect, the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely, clean, comfy and spacious. The master bedroom is especially lovely. I would definately stay at the villa again when I next go to Grenada which I would hope to be soon"

Luxury Villa at an Affordable Price
From the moment I inquired about this beautiful property, I knew that we had found our vacation home. The owners were very responsive and answered every question we had. Believe me, I had a lot of them... We booked the property about two months before our planned vacation and the owners were great about keeping in touch with us leading up to our trip to ensure that all of our wishes were fulfilled.
I had made arrangements with a car rental company to pick up a car at the airport. When we arrived, they told us that the property manager had already contacted them and were coming to the airport to escort us to the property so that we wouldn't get lost.
We were met by the property manager Sheliza who took us to the villa. When we got there she took the time to give us a tour of the property and answer any questions we had. There was also a nice welcome package consisting of a six pack of their local beer (Carib), a bottle of champagne, a large bottle of water and a nice Grenada tapestry. Unexpected, but a very nice and considerate touch.
The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous with incredible views. Believe me, the photos don't do it justice. As warm as it gets in Grenada, you won't need air conditioning due to the beautiful breezes that blow through every day. We did use the air conditioning in the bedroom once when there was a heavy rain storm and we had to close the windows and it worked fine.
You will need to rent a car to get around and driving in Grenada can be an adventure. The roads are narrow and windy and there are some very steep hills but nothing that you won't get used to pretty quickly. The driveway leading up to the villa is very steep as well and is pretty intimidating the first time. After that, it's a breeze.
As beautiful as the villa is, take time to explore the island. The people of Grenada are the friendliest I've ever encountered and you'll really miss out if you don't take advantage of the opportunity to meet them. I highly recommend this property. We'll definitely be back again.

Beautiful View, Soothing Breezes
Osprey is a nice, safe home base from which to explore this beautiful, transitioning island. I concur in most all the previous comments, although the driveway, while steep, is easily managed with the 4WD SUV Heather recommended we rent.
The view from the terrace is super, great place to read, have breakfast, coffee, drinks. We felt comfortable being away from the touristy Grande Anse area, although that's fairly easy to get to, and really enjoyed getting to chat with locals at some of the neighborhood "joints" just outside Egmont. Some we found on our own, some Heather included in her very helpful guide she'll email you on request.
We found all key beaches and tourist restaurants between a 15-20 minute drive away. Our favorite beach is La Luna. We asked if we could use their awesome private beach n facilities if we stayed for lunch and the response was, "no problem." Osprey's property manager, Sheliza, is super helpful, the housekeeper, Kira, conscientious, the gardener/pool maintenance man, Michael, does a nice job keeping the pool clean and the great variety of flora watered and trimmed. The pool is delicious, but more a plunge pool than for laps or exercise.
We ate out 6/7 dinners, but the kitchen worked for our breakfasts and a few lunches. The grocery stores are easy to navigate. One is 5 minutes away, a larger one 15 away.
Grenada drivers are the nicest I've encountered on any Caribbean island. Of course they'll pass you often with a little toot, but they're usually nice about it and many times we were offered directions just because we looked lost, which we were for sure now n then, but never for more than a minute.
Keep your bug spray or cream handy when you go out day and night. Heather can recommend types that work here.

FABULOUS VILLA WITH AMAZING VIEW
We stayed here for 10 nights, the villa was amazing. The sunrise in the morning and the view of the sea below is just beautiful. At night you can hear the tree frogs and nothing else. Being high up your not surrounded by anyone.
Its about 20mins away from the main beaches, we tended to leave in the morning and then get home after a bite to eat at around 6pm once it got dark. We would then spend the remainder of the night on the terrace or a little trip to the marina were you can extend your evening into the night. Most of the times we stayed in and went to bed early which helped us come home really refreshed and eager to book again soon!
The road up to the villa is easy, and once you get into the Caribbean way of life and understanding that their roads are not the same as what we have at home then there is absolutely nothing to stop you from adventuring around the island.
WOW!!!! - SUPERB LOCATION - It's a gem!”
I really shouldn't write a good review as it will only make it harder for me to get another booking each year! This was our second stay at the villa as we had fallen in love with it on our first visit back in 2014 and we are booking again 2016 (for a longer stay this time!). The website gives an honest and detailed account and the villa suited us perfectly - peaceful, clean, comfortable, secure and away from the rat race were we could relax and live in our own dream world. Picked up and dropped off at the airport so wasn't worried about initial directions, it's easy to find your way around the island.
The views from the terrace are stunning and we spent most of our time sipping cocktails by the pool or on the terrace mesmerised by the view, my wife had to drag me away as I could have stayed out all night watching the stars with the moon reflecting off the water in the bay below and the harbour boot lights flickering in the distance. The gentle cooling breeze from across the bay made it a joy to sit outside on the terrace no matter how hot it got as it's also large enough to be sheltered from the sun when needed. Never put the air con on during the day when we were inside as nature breezed through the open windows.
Pool is a perfect size for us and being built into the hillside it wasn't overlooked by other properties or from the roadside. We spent each morning with an early breakfast on the terrace and a few hours in and out the pool before heading into Grand Anse beach for the afternoon/lunch then back to the pool. Evenings were spent either at La Phere Bleu or to the excellent restaurants that the owners recommended.
A very peaceful location and beautiful villa, a joy to sit, read and relax and never I used the TV once! Now to the villa itself, yes some of the reviews have mentioned the approach to the villa and how it is steep, but it is but short in length, we had no problem with it in our hired little Suzuki jeep. The drive is of concrete and has a turning area at the top and space for a couple of cars, even from here the views are superb. There are no through roads as it built into the hillside.
The outside of the villa is very impressive, the gardens being mature and well kept and the villa itself is raised on different levels, inside is very spacious and furnishings are minimal but comfortable yet simple. Split levels up to the large kitchen area then through to the bedrooms. All of which were clean and tidy by the housekeeper for our arrival on both occasions.
When we do self catering/villa holidays we don't look for too much for a fully fitted kitchen with a multitude of utensils and pots and pans, all the basic's were there for us as in the evenings we ate out. I'm sure the owners would provide additional culinary equipment if there was a large group having a dinner party but it's not what we needed. On both trips we also had the opportunity to dine with some excellent and friendly neighbours and had a great time.
Overall an excellent location/villa giving good value for money whilst being in a superb setting, looking towards the mountains on the other side of the bay with an osprey flying overhead and a view down to the harbour - what more could you ask for?

You just have to go to this outstanding villa. It is my second visit to this, even better than last time. It is fabulous well with lovely comfortable locally made furniture in a very friendly area. Housekeeper and property manager obviously do a great job in looking after the villa. Hihgly recommend will be going back.

Stunning villa with incredible views in an ideal location to explore Grenada
We arrived at the villa and were bowled over by the location and stunning views of the property which the photographs did not show, spacious clean with high vaulted ceilings making for an airy and cool environment in which to escape the heat, this villa is comfortably furnished with a separate pool area in the sun with a beautiful shaded terrace in the cool, not overlooked at all which gives complete privacy. We would not hesitate to re book this villa if we returned to Grenada.

Breathtaking View and Spacious!
A beautiful property in a safe neighborhood. Very spacious and the view in the balcony was breathtaking! I appreciated the complimentary pick-up from the airport. The rental property manager was very helpful and responsive to my texts.
Beautifull Villa in an excellent location with a lovely pool
This spacious villa was clean and uncluttered which we loved and we spent most of our time on the fantastic shaded terrace. We also really liked their choice of usin locally made furniture throughout the villa. We felt relaxed and comfortable at all times during our stay but as this was our first trip to Grenada the modern zoned alarm system did give us peace of mind before booking as did the helpful owners and property manager who could not do enough for us they were great. Pros - Very effective air con in the 2 main bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, the nearest beach and local amenities 10 mins walk away at the marina, american style fridge freezer, coming back to the villa for those amazing views and cool breeze, large shaded private terrace but neighbours close so did not feel isolated.
