Calder Ridge, an elevated residential area located 20 minutes from the capital on the south western tip of St.Vincent. Named after Capt.Calder, an eighteenth century naval officer who took part in the Cape St.Vincent battle off the Portugese coast, the name nods towards the colonial heritage of St.Vincent.
