India & Villa Bay
Due to the island's volcanic origin, most of St Vincent beaches are black sand with two notable exceptions at Villa and Indian Bay beaches which are particularly good for swimming and snorkeling, with calm waters.
Guest ReviewsWe stayed at the Mariners Hotel for a few days and we were in Heaven.Crystal the frontdesk Supervisor welcomed us very warmly with a smile and give us free rum punches on arrival which were delightful! She made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Their restaurant and foods are great and staff very friendly. We ate at a restaurant further on the beach but preferred the Mariners. The view is breathtaking and my family enjoyed every bit of it.We are going back to St. Vincent next year and we are definitely going to stay there. SunsetEve, Trip Advisor, 21 Mar 2010
Stayed 3 days before we went off sailing. Clean, great pool, friendly staff, excellent food, great rum punches. Would definetly go back. Iehtoria, 10 Mar 2010
The staff was so wonderful we would definitely return again. The rooms are a little outdated but the pool area and restaurant were excellent. The dive shop is a convenient short walk down the waterfront and Desmond was wonderful for running us around. He did warn us about the Sunset rum and he was right! Vivienne at the front desk was so helpful and mailed all our postcards. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!
